Chakras are the energy centres, bringing the necessary life force energy to the whole of the body. These centres are the 'power houses' that feed the sun's energies to the organs, glands and extremities. During times of stress, illness or trauma, these chakras can be affected and work less effectively, causing us to feel 'off kilter' and out of sorts.
Using a pendulum, our CNHC Registered Reiki Practitioner can identify the in-balances and during a therapy of Reiki or Crystal healing, the body can be brought back into balance and harmony. Records will show before and after readings for you to take home. Many have said that the therapy has been very relaxing, cleansing, that they feel lighter and more positive after a treatment such as this. For more details see our Chakra Balancing leaflet
It has been long known that crystals have a vibration all of their own which can assist in healing and balancing our own energy fields. The crystals are specifically chosen for the individual and are placed on or around the body and are used to amplify and direct healing energy from the therapist to the client. Crystal Therapy can help you not just to cleanse, balance and re-energise the whole body, it can also help specific areas and problems, whether that is sleeping at night, speaking in public, healing yourself, calming your mind or even easing stress and anxiety. For more details see our Crystal Therapy leaflet
Using glass or silicone cups & using the meridian theory of the body, this massage is mainly carried out on the back, neck and shoulders. The skin is pulled into the cups and moved or left on the oiled skin to effect the body's tissues. It is very slow, calming and relaxing. It helps remove any stagnation to allow energy to flow more freely through the tissues. Ideal for stubborn knots in the muscles, frozen shoulder or tenseness in the muscles. It is said to be very good for cellulite. For more details see our Cupping Massage leaflet
Emotional Freedom Technique
A genuine freedom from traumas, un-processed, negative emotions or phobias that have created problems, issues or even pain in one's life. Using the meridian points, (just like acupuncture), a procedure of focusing, scoring and tapping can help the body sub-consciously release tension, hurt, traumas, negative energies such as anger, guilt, anxiety and can even help increase self-esteem & self-confidence. Once the procedure has been learnt, this can be done at home for further therapy. For more details, see our EFT leaflet
Indian Head Massage

Some of the most common benefits of reiki healing treatment include:
Reduce stress and anxiety
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a natural healing energy activated by intention. It works on every level, not just the physical. The practice of Reiki is an original method of healing, developed by Mikao Usui in Japan nearly in the 20th century.
The Japanese word Reiki means 'Universal Energy'. Eastern medicine has always recognised and worked with this energy, which flows through all living things and is vital to our well-being; known as 'ki' in Japan, 'chi' in China and 'prana' in India. Acupuncture, Tai chi and Yoga are also based on the free-flow of this energy in a person.
A Reiki treatment is non-diagnostic, non-interventionist, non-manipulative and no pressure is applied. A session is usually carried out with the recipient lying down, or sitting, in a comfortable and peaceful environment. There is no need to remove any clothing as Reiki energy passes easily through all materials, including plaster casts.
Reiki may be experienced as a flow of energy, mild tingling, warmth, coolness, other sensations, or nothing at all.
Reiki is deeply relaxing and has a profoundly calming effect. For more details, see our Reiki leaflet.
A report from the HSE (2017/2018) stated that 44% of work-related illnesses (around 595,000 workers) were due to stress in the worker’s current or past workplace amounting to 15.4 million work days lost due to work-related stress.
Excess stress takes its toll on the body in different ways, including headaches, feelings of nausea, indigestion, overheating, high blood pressure, digestion disorders, aches and pains and heart palpitations.

Please ring for further details and / or book an appointment. We can usually do taster sessions for first timers at reduced prices.

Stimulating these areas can have a healing effect, working well for sciatica, fibromyalgia, frozen shoulder and a number of digestive problems. Our practitioner is a registered member of the Federation of Holistic Healers and as such you can trust that you are in the best hands and you may be able to recoup the money spent if you have the appropriate health insurance. Hot Stone Massage
Hot stone massage is a speciality massage where the therapist uses smooth, heated stones as an extension of their own hands, or by placing them on the body. The heat can be both deeply relaxing and help warm up tight muscles so the therapist can work more deeply, more quickly on any problem areas.
A back, neck & shoulder massage is half an hour, and full body an hour's treatment. For more details see our Hot Stone Massage leaflet
