Smoke cleansing is a beautiful practice whereby we burn incense or herbs to cleanse and purge a space of unwanted energies.

This week: Focus on CUPPING MASSAGE

Cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy. By applying special "cups" to the skin and then reducing pressure in the cups (either by heat or suction) which holds them fast to the skin and underlying muscles. The tissues are sucked inside the cup and whilst the suction is active, the cup can be moved, allowing the skin and muscle to be gently massaged.

Cupping has greater emphasis on the back due to the large area of skin and unlike other massage, as the cups gently glide over they can have deeper effects right down to the bone structure.
The gentle but powerful pulling motion brought about by the suction makes this treatment ideal for deep tissue repair.

It can be used to eliminate cellulite in the muscles on the waist, bottom and thighs. Regular treatment can make the skin smoother & softer to the touch.
Cupping is also recommended for the treatment of pain, gastrointestinal disorders, lung diseases (especially chronic cough & asthma) and paralysis, and many other issues.

Cupping can affect the body up to four inches into the tissues, causing the tissues to release toxins, activate the lymphatic system, clear colon blockages, activate and clear the veins, arteries and capillaries, activate the skin, clear stretch marks, and improve the appearance of varicose veins.

This week: Focus on BODY MASSAGE

Massage is a popular treatment using different kinds of massage movements to relax, revive and heal the body. It is used to treat a wide range of emotional and physical health problems.
